Public Speaking

It's your best friend's wedding and as you've been asked to be best man you know your speech has got to be a hit. The wedding is just three weeks away but already there's a few butterflies when you think about it. You want to hold your audience spellbound but that nervous feeling doesn't feel good...

The area of public speaking is one that causes more nerves amongst people than anything else. Whether you are giving a best man’s speech or a presentation at work, you can freeze in fear, causing havoc to your body without the right approach.

Performance Bodywork helps by showing you how you are holding your body and how you may be sabotaging yourself mentally and emotionally. You can then find ways of moving through the blocks and building a solid base of confidence through ways of using your voice and your body to the best advantage.

Charlotte spent two years as a presenter for the classical music channel (RTHK) in Hong Kong and learned public speaking as a member of the Amsterdam Toastmasters Club. She has an innate understanding of how to use your voice in nerve filled situations both in front of the microphone and standing up in public.

Occasionally we'll put photos on the site that illustrate an aspect of Performance Bodywork. Check out the Gallery below.
